Hello, yogis!
I hope all of you North American readers had a lovely Labor Day weekend.
I wanted to share my brand new article about meditation, which was just published in Elephant Journal!
Learning to be still
“It’s funny,” my therapist said, “most people get panic attacks about things that will never happen. You get panic attacks about something that happens pretty often.”
I didn’t think it was that funny.

And as always, thank you so much for all your support – it’s never easy talking about anxiety and panic attacks in a public forum. But the open-heartedness I’ve felt here has made it possible for me to share and hopefully, be of use to someone who is dealing with similar challenges.
I hope you enjoy the article.
Peace,
Lisa

Ok, so now I feel bad for even joking around saying you were ‘that girl from Mrs. Doubtfire’ at dinner with the gang a couple weeks ago. But you handled it quite while, and after reading this, I understand why. And after reading this, I’m even more inspired to give yoga a try. I’ll let you know how it goes. Anyway, hope the smoke wasn’t too bad at Bass Lake, but I’m sure Seattle made up for it. Hope to see you guys again soon! -Justin
Justin! No need to feel badly at all! I meditate now – I can take it. 🙂 I’m thrilled to hear that you are feeling motivated. If you want more info, check out https://justherejustnow.wordpress.com/category/beginner/ for a few of beginner-centric articles.
We had so much fun seeing you and everyone for dinner. We also watched the news and I found myself saying to J – “It’s fun seeing someone you know on TV!”
Take care and if you have ANY questions, get in touch.
